Best Pepin House Brand?

OK, Since i've come to the conclusion, like so many others, that DonPepin is a god, i've decided to persue his stuff a little harder. I looked up Don Pepin on wikipedia and it lists all of the stuff he has made under his name, under the el rey de los habanos factory and his Esteli, Nic factory.

So...

I'd like to hear some opinions of which house brands you all like best.

Black cat? Holts? CI? The one out in Scottsdale, AZ?

Give me your thoughts.

Cigar King's Hirsch y Garcia is pretty amazing, followed by their Habana Leon. Sadly, the former "bargain" price of these skyrocketed to the near $200 range, likely as a result of DPG's rising star. Can't afford those now... :angryteet

I would say either the Habano Leons or Old Henrys. Both are great.

havent had enough to place an opinion but you will get good feedback from the brothers that have tried them. I would see if you could get a 5er of a few different blends and find what you like.

You have to age them. Fresh you will be disappointed. I thought I had made mistake with the ones I bought so I dumped them in the bottom of my humi. Six months later, I wish it was a whole box.

I'd have to say the Leons would be my top pick overall. However, the 1950's are a hell of an example of his work at a little better price.
