Ok so instead of askin you "whats the best cigar you ever smoked" I'll ask "Where is the best place you ever smoked?" for me it was on the terrace of a hotel called "Princeville Resort" on the island of Kaui,HI...while watching the whales just off the coast....:smile:

BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

In my friend Arne's basement. He owned the Shuester Mansion in Milwaukee, very cool place and in the basement was a concrete room, no paint, no flooring other than concrete, a square box fan in the wall that blew into a 5 gallon bucket that went into a 4" dryer hose that vented outdoors. Old beat up leather chairs, couple speakers driven by an iPod and a very well stocked fridge/bar. Without a doubt, the best of my smoking times were in that basement!
Sitting on my back deck on a warm summer evening
I believe it was last October in Big Bear. On the front patio of the cabin we rented. Mid sixties outside, the coals in the grill were still providing some heat, after a huge steak dinner. I had six pack of Fat Tire sitting on ice next to me, looking up at the mountain and watching the squirrels and rabbits do their evening thing. Was just a great night.

About 6 months ago I was in St. Pete's club hoping and boozing it up with an old bandmate I hadn't seen in at least 10 years. Other musicians here may know that your bandmates become family after a while as you go through thick and thin with them. So couple the fact I was hanging with an old friend, a mid 70's night at the beach and my first and only OpusX made for the best cigar smoking experience I have had so far.

Anytime I am the last person on the golf course.
My back deck in the summer with my friends and also my father in laws best friends house. He is 2nd generation Italian he's a retired attorney and now just enjoys cooking his Mommas old recipes and he'll invite the families over and put on the best Italian meal money can buy and after dinner he invites the men into the living room for cigars which I graciously supply:smokingbo and we smoke right there with our feet up and smokin' away... It doesn't hurt when you have 17' ceilings either.

tough choice! sitting with my lady on the lanai in Maui; sitting uptop with Chuck in Avilo beach, herfing in Colorado with the boys, herfing in laguna beach with the boys, herfing in AZ with the boys,,, there is one contant: good cigars and good friends!!

Cool thread idea.
Outside of herfs with bros. from the site I woudl say having a cigar and coffee at JJ Fox in London was probably the coolest place I have ever smoked. It was a great experience. A close second was the LCDH in London.
