I've said this before - but this is just a reminder. I'll be breaking BOTL over time in order to get it into a far better place. Just be patient if you can't reach us! We'll be back
Ditto. Nice work and thanks for sharing! Been floating the idea of brewing with a buddy of mine for quite some time now. You're pushing me closer & closer to that edge. :smokingbo
The mini-kegs I use are only 1.25 gallons and I use a phil-tap system so pressure is constant and easy to use. I've done many various brews (brewing since '95) and never had an issue w/ the mini-keg system.
I've often thought about the mini-kegs. However bottles are free and hassle enough for me. I have a nice system and sometimes the lady of the house help by capping while I fill.
Well I found a company selling some bottle wax stuff for a decent deal. I figured since I give my annual imperial stout as Christmas beer to family as a gift of sorts I'd make it look bad ass. So I got some bottle wax.
This was a test run on the seven sample bottles I have set aside. I intend to buy a dry metallic copper powder pigment to add on the real bottles. I think the gray is a nice contrast though.
