Black Dog Coffee What to get

I got the sampler a couple of weeks ago and the Tanzania Peaberry was something special... I also really enjoed the Dogwatch Dark... I voted for those two since my first "real" order will be a bag each of those.

Like the other fellas posted, each is a bit different so grab a sampler... the price is great. Besides, any way you go you are getting beans delivered to your door almost immediately after roasting... the quality is awesome!

Any of these come close in flavor to Community Coffee New Orleans Blend ??

I suggest the Dogwatch blend, the sumatra, and the Yemen. I used to love the regular tanzanian peaberry but when he had to switch to burka estate the flavor I loved wasn't there anymore. That dogwatch blend is awesome though.

The Ethiopian is hard to beat.

Ethiopia is the birth place of coffee, they know how to do it right.

I prefer Community to Cafe Du Monde, but it goes REALLY well with beignets!

Wow! I have to say that I was in New Orleans this time last summer. It was unbearably hot, but there is nothing like a good glass of Cafe du Monde iced coffee and a plate of beignets for breakfast in New Orleans.
