What's the context? What happened?

A major water main broke and its dumping like 8 million gallons of water per hour into the Charles.

Its unreal. People on my street are tearing out in their cars to go get water.

i just did the dishes from a pot filled with water and a few drops of bleach. it occurred to me there are places in the world where this is still the norm. i have to admit, i take potable water for granted. having a clean, available, consumable supply of water delivered at the flick of the wrist is definitely one of humanity's greatest achievements.

Pipe all fixed 24-48 hours of water testing and we are good to go. I don't mind boiling the water but it sucks so bad that all the Dunkins around Boston have no coffee!!
