Brand New Box of Gran Cojonu's - Disappointed

I'm not sure what else I should call them? Legitimate = real... They were real problems. Mistakes. They seem to have overextended themselves as far as LE smokes. I just hadn't ever heard people say that his regular line stuff had fallen off in quality.

I'm not saying that they weren't real issues.

I am very happy for those who like and are loyal to this brand. Maybe my expectations are more than other peoples. At this time I just feel that I can purchase a better product for a less expensive price. I thank all for the civil comments. I have had some people get nasty over my views.

Hey, it is your personal experience. I haven't noticed it and I'll be really disappointed if I start seeing it go down. I think maybe pete tried to do too much and that led to problems, but from what I heard he is trying to slow down on the LE and one shop releases which is a good thing (for my pocket book and for the product) so that he can make sure that every product that comes out is the best it can be.

I'm sure the brand lost more customers than just you, which is always bad, but it sounds like lessons were learned, so maybe they'll end up better for this whole debacle in the last year or so.

I don't think that the company is seeking stores out to do a one off release...rather it's the single b&m making the request for a signature release to get more sales and exposure for the store. As far as quality of late and "debacle" you guys keep looking for the next best thing and they keep trying to deliver...can't blame the company for trying.

I don't think it was them seeking out stores to do one offs, but they may have said yes more often than they should have given the other releases done last year.

I never thought it was a big deal but I can see how multiple problems one after the other could cause someone to lose interest.

Welp, all's well that ends well...

Got the new box in the mail today...wow! Every single stick is perfect with a nice dark sheen. Comparing the two boxes side-by-side makes the original box look even worse - all dry and dilapidated. I couldn't have smoked them.

Now these are more like it! Can't wait to burn one down this weekend. Very impressed with CB and glad it seems like just a fluke from Tat.

No offense taken, thanks for asking. Everyone has a price they can afford or a taste they have to take care of.

I have been going the CC route. Most of what I buy is not that expensive.
