I'm heading to Buffalo for work the first week of December. I go once a year for work and always have free time:applause:. I'm looking to stay downtown. So any recommendations on where to stay, where to eat (anchor bar I know that), and where to smoke.

Thoughts???

Yea I'm actually there week before.... I will be in Tennessee the following week for the Saints game.

There's 3 B&M's in the Buffalo area that you can check-out. The Virgil, Nice Ash and Smokin' Joes. Of the 3, Nice Ash located in Depew has a nice lounge. Humi has decent selection. The Virgil is a smaller, older shop with good selection and has a little lounge off to the side as well. Smokin' Joes has a smoke shop that has quite a selection but no lounge.

Of course the NY state tax on tobacco comes into play. The Virgil's pricing is a little better than Nice Ash. Smokin's Joes is located on an indian reserve so there's no tax.

And of course if you ever decide to cross into Canada and check out the falls let us Canadian Brothers know who knows we may be able to meet up for a smoke :thumbsup:

im in buffalo and stogiecidal pretty much laid it out perfectly. If your looking for somewhere to stop with a nice lounge nice ash is the way to go, virgil always has a good group of people in there but the humidor is pretty limited. And if your looking to spend some money smokin joes is the way to go, they have a nice selection and no ridiculous taxes

The Ontario guys are spread out all over from Hamilton and London area. I used to be in Oakville myself but have moved to downtown to be closer to work.

I tend to head to Buffalo quite often, was actually there last weekend. I'll definitely msg you (and Mike) for a smoke when I head back.

I've read on other forums there's a heated patio that has heaters and heated floors that's open year round that's cigar friendly...place is called the Sky Yard at the Drake Hotel....never been myself yet....just sayin' :stretchgr
