I use vector I believe. Big can was like 8.99 local and that was a year ago and it still has a lot left...

I have a lot of different lighters...Xikar, ST Dupont, Ronsons, etc. and it seems each one has it's own personality as to what it works best with butane wise. As others have talked about Ronsons can almost run on anything...Xikars IMO need a premium brand like Vector or other 5X refined fuel. About 4 years ago I bought the big cans of Vector with the CI free shipping code and have only gone through one can of 4....never have had an issue with this fuel.

Some of the lighters tend to have different size nozzles which can make refills a PIA so know your lighters before refilling. I wasn't sure of the shelf life of butanes but so far after all this time the fuel works like gold.

I just won a bid on CBid. Two 13 oz cans of Jetline 5x refined for 7 bucks a can. Should last me for 4 or 5 years.

And then some...I'm almost through with my second can in 4 years....and with so many lighters that I tend to use you hit the jackpot with $7 a can even with S/H added.

I have been using Stok for the last year or so. Found it by accident when I ventured into the local "smoke" shop. It works well in everything I put it in Xikar, DuPont, Blazer and Ronson. Costs a little more but to me it's worth it.

I love Xikar lighters, BUT not their butane. Vector Quintuple refined is the best I've found by far. I have filled some lighters with Xikar butane for reviews and they misfired/inconsistent light. Then emptied, filled with Vector and literally fired everytime. That's my unscientific endorsement

Vector 14x butane from Field Supply...
Worked great so far without issues on my three Xikars.

Been using Xikar in my Jetline torch and Vector in my Lotus. Seems to work fine on both.

I use zippo and it dont work well but works 2.99 for 3oz probly paying more than I should but I bought it in may still working on emptying the can

I use Xikar's fluid.
