I've already bought a box of cigars to take with me on vacation. (CAO Gold Maduros) But I'm also looking for something milder to take with me. I'm thinking the Casa Torano or the Torano 1916.

Any other suggestions for a good mild smoke in that price range?

Puke, and Puke. No seriously, the 1916 is the only cigar that almost made me puke. It did, however give me diarrhea for 3 days.

For a milder smoke... The RP Connecticut is a great one, though maybe too mild. Maybe the CAO Blacks.

Wow, it made you puke AND gave you diarrhea?! Never heard that before! To me they are pretty mild - definitely don't have enough Vitamin N to make me want to puke.

I love LGC Wavell - not too strong but have a great flavor. There's also the regular Monte line. Both are some of my go-tos.

Have fun on your vacation!

LCG Wavell is good....but for the difference in price, I'd jump up to the Serie R Natural. Now THAT is a tasty-good smoke!

id go with the Casa Toranos. they are about the only mild smoke id spend money on. mild, yet very flavorfull.

whatever you do, dont get the RP 99's. like drawing warm air...

Any of these would be good:

5 Vegas Gold
Chateau Fuente
Oliva Serie G
RP Vintage 1990 / Sungrown

I don't think I'd classify either the Fuente or the RP as mild... Maybe it's just me... :dunno:
By themselves, I wouldn't qualify them as mild either ... but the question was relative. The CAO Golds I've had were around the mild to medium strength range ... and I figured the maduro wrapper would add some spiciness and maybe a touch of strength. To me, my selections would qualify as something that might be close or slightly milder than that.
