BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

The experts say to squirt a bit of water ( mist it ...not pure water ) into the tank as that will counter the effects of the static buildup.
Just clean it after you use it. It happens with most grinders. Now, my Baratza Vario W has some special anti-static coating on the bin, and it actually works pretty well, but I've never seen that on cheaper grinders.

I'd also add, Jon, that it's mostly the fines that stick and the force/angle they're sent into the bin. I used to wipe it out after every use but eventually said F it. I can also attest to my Baratza bin not allowing much to stick. A quick tap and it's gone.
