Agreed man. This is a real great forum, and the members and mods are top notch!
I've only had the pleasure of meeting up with one brother so far, but I hope to get together with many more in the future.
Short of the zombie apocalypse, I'm here! Well, even then, I would probably find a way to maintain my presence.

I haven't been a part of other cigar forums but have been a part of forums on other topics. There are a couple things that have stuck out in my mind about this group of guys here:

1) In all of my time on the internet/forums (too much admittedly), I have NEVER seen a group of members give back as much as this group. I am not talking about giving to BOTL to keep it running or the insane bombings flying around. I am talking about giving back to the communities that drive the industry in which we are here for, cigars. I have seen multiple trips to Nicaragua organized here, and though I haven't been a part of the trip, you can see via pictures the impact that it has. Most forums/other "passions" are an "out of site, out of mind" type deal. Not here! These guys are here to make change in a positive way.

2) Don't ask me why, but I trust guys on here. From the first day I got here, I knew that most/all of these guys could be trusted. Never in my life would I have thought that I would go and meet up with people I met on the internet to HERF. However, after a few weeks, your just meeting with friends to share smokes. You don't even think about how your met.

3) These guys will do anything for another member. Whether it be prayers, advice OR asking a member to ship you some stuff in Germany so you can keep your smokes safe while your there (JOEL).

This is certainly a special place. Enjoy it.

Many moons ago I also frequented other cigar forums but these brothers here are family and I have not been anywhere else for several years. As many of you recall I had a heart attack about a month ago and it looks like I am going to have to give up smoking. If not then my death will be from my wife, haha. I plan to cut down and ween myself off of the one thing I truly love. I will continue to be here with my brothers and sisters til the end.

That sucks brother... I hate to hear something like that but your health is what matters

I haven't been on any other forums, I started here and immediately found home. The love that comes from this place is incredible and it truly is a family and brotherhood.

I do hope to meet up and herf with more brothers, but the ones I've met already have solidified that this is where I'm staying. Some guys make me want to go out to different states just to meet up and share a stick or two.

I thank everyone for being helpful whenever I've asked a question, and being respectful of it was an easier question to be answered. I thank everyone for the support once THEMISCHMAN, DocDrake, and I returned home to our families. You guys are incredible.
