As for it being a scam, you see these mystery auctions a lot but I never follow up on them to see what the winning bidder recieved.

Some lady was claiming her 16 year old son received a sports car for his birthday and immediately got a speeding ticket. She was advertising the sale of the car with no picture. She wouldn't tell the make or model and the only pic was the garage door with a question mark on it.

A mom's son got a ticket in his first hour of driving and lied about it. Dad bought the son a sports car and the mystery you were bidding on is the whatever is behind the garage door (some type of sportscar :dunno: ).
