  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

All prices in Mexico are high but the guys that run the shops are super. Last time on Puerto Vallarta the guy made mojitos for the wife while I smoked cigars. Same in TJ. You buy and talk to people and they treat you right.

Hey, I'm new here and just started to work for La Casa in Playa, we have moved from 5th and are now on 28th and the beach, just a short walk from 5th.

We are still carrying all our lines and are constantly adding new ones, and we have the only cigar lounge in Playa now so you can sit out on our deck and watch the beach life come and go..

hope to see some of you soon....

I am in Playa now and for another week. I may have to stop by for a cigar one of these nights.

I went to the LCDH in Cancun about 10 months ago and yes, they are awesome, great looking place with friendly employees. The prices are a bit high, very true. I payed just under 30.00 american (dont remember what the pesos were) for a Cohiba Robusto. I ended up biting the bullet because I got burned on a 5 pack at the market, wanted to make sure I actually got a REAL cuban haha.
I highly recommend them, if nothing else but for the reassurance that its legit. You get what you pay for

A PSD #4 can be found in our LCDH for $14-$15.

Those prices are indicative of that shop and it's policy, not the taxes in Mexico.

Funny because when I was there in August (LCDH Cancun) and when I went to the LCDH TJ last week, both places had the PSD4 for $15 -$20.

Can't say taxes are not high in Mexico. Some of your prices are also much higher than many other places Drew including LCDH's in TJ or Cancun.

Regardless, if on vacation, the BEST place to go is LCDH Cancun. By far the best Lounge of any LCDH in Mexico. If you want a bargain, like many have said here, bring your own.

Seems like bad form when you put down other LCDH's that happen to be your main competitor when you should really just talk about the highlights of your own store instead.

Seems to me like he is just stating the facts. If he has a certain price and the other stores have another price, where is he talking down about them?

Good lord! I'm heading there at the end of April.. Guess I need to bring 2 travel humidiors, thought it would be a tad cheaper in Mexico..
