Ummm...not sure about the talking out both sides of the mouth, but I'll say this, whoever wrote it needs an editor. Damn. That's one of the most poorly written pieces I've seen in a while. Just plane hard to read.
Back to the specific topic, the following line leads me to believe this is someone not actually involved in the hobby:
Most individuals who smoke cigars inhale less deeply; thus lower amounts of nicotine enter the lungs.
Either they didn't word their sentence properly (quite likely based on the rest of the article), they don't know anything about 'cigar smokers', or I don't know what I think I do. Maybe I'm an anomaly, but I thought I was pretty typical for a cigar smoker in that I simply do NOT inhale unless by accident (and I can count the number of times that's happened on one hand). I don't retrohale as I never got the hang of it, and I realize that doing so introduces smoke into the sinus cavity, but again, we aren't talking true "inhaling" here. If the author is simply talking about the inevitable inhalation of second hand smoke, well, yeah. I can't argue that point. But to compare that to a cigarette smoker's inhaling is way off base.
All of that being said, I don't think they were misleading or talking out of both sides of the mouth. The title is poorly worded, but it's a hook. The article is meant to warn that smoking a cigar is still dangerous.
