Like everyone has said you can't go wrong with either one. As for the Taurus Judge .410 revolver metioned in djustices post the video is pretty impressive, I'd love to shoot one!

A couple of .410 rounds followed by a couple of 45 long colt and you wouldn't have to worry about anyone getting up!

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's not a gun you would want to conceal carry.

What kind of problems is your friend having? I'm kind of curious, you don't hear of too many problems with revolvers (at least not like with semi-auto's).

.. Or a pump shotgun is always good too.. hehe.. Hearing the pump action in a quiet house is always stimulating.
My personal favorite. When I taught the wife to shoot alll my weapons, she pumped the Browning 12 and said, "oh yes, I like this one".:stretchgr Fair warning.

The .410 shot fine but when he went to shoot the FMJ's very small pieces of the cylinder were flying off and hitting him in the face. It was the timming that needed adjusted.
