I just picked up a warthog not too long ago, great carry gun.Para Ordinance makes a nice compact...
Ive shot one and its a pretty fun gun. My buddy is having nothing but problems with his though. I need something I can also carry and if you've seen the size of the cylinder on that thing ....http://www.taurususa.com/video/taurus-theJudge-video.cfm
If I was looking strictly for home protection/bedside companion, I think I would have to look pretty hard at this one.
My personal favorite. When I taught the wife to shoot alll my weapons, she pumped the Browning 12 and said, "oh yes, I like this one".:stretchgr Fair warning... Or a pump shotgun is always good too.. hehe.. Hearing the pump action in a quiet house is always stimulating.
The .410 shot fine but when he went to shoot the FMJ's very small pieces of the cylinder were flying off and hitting him in the face. It was the timming that needed adjusted.Yeah, I know what you mean. It's not a gun you would want to conceal carry.
What kind of problems is your friend having? I'm kind of curious, you don't hear of too many problems with revolvers (at least not like with semi-auto's).
(sorry for the thread-jack)
