Will work for Dirty Rats
Well, I needed to do a review for the scavenger hunt that danthebugman is hosting, and a friend gave me one of these special CAO's, so I figured it was a good time to smoke it! Also, go ahead and lower the bar for what you're expecting because this is my first review ever.
I'll be smoking this with the help of Makers Mark and Diet Coke and everyone in the chat room.
Cosmetic: This cigar looks amazing. It has a beautiful dark brown, oily wrapper. It is definitely one of the better LOOKING cigars I've smoked.
The Smoke: This thing lit right up without a problem and had one of the nicest burns I've seen in a long time. I haven't gotten a burn like this out of a Tat or Liga in a while. The taste is exceptional. I'm getting an earthy flavor but not too much grass, which is good because I hate grassy smokes. It picked up a LITTLE bit of spice in the second 3rd, but still carried the earthy tones. The final third changed a little. can't really describe the profile. It got a little spicier again, and tastes great.
Overall: Even though this cigar didn't blow me away, it was still a great smoke. I nubbed it. It was very consistent, and I will probably get some more if I can.
