So, i just got a box
and frankly i'm underwelmed. So my question, is the latest batch as good as the original? Do they need time in the humidor? Is my palate just lacking? T.i.a.

I bought a box about a year ago and it is great. I never heard the original. I let mine rest in the humidor about 6 months before smoking. Maybe let them rest for awhile and try again.

I got a box and only smoked one out of it so far and they seemed good to me. However, some of the original release ones I have have become a little muted. After smoking the FEC and Anaconda they are a little less strong.

Let them rest and try one again in 3 months. You may actually need to sit on them for about 9-12 months, though.
