  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I got this email from my local shop the other day and wondering if any of you guys had tried these out. I am still learning which sticks I like and only have a small collection of sticks right now. Wondering if I should add these...

Thanks guys!

Just wanted to let you know we have a limited supply of the CAO America Anthem. This cigar comes in its own coffin box and measures 8 1/2" x 50. Only 18,000 were produced. The "Anthem" is a special edition 'A' size that CAO has done for their America brand. It's the same wrapper/binder/filler as the rest of the line.

This stick is not displayed in the walk-in humidor, so you will need to ask for assistance when purchasing.

It's first come, first serve on these because of the limited supply.

8.5 x 50....I don't have that much time to smoke, but I had a smaller version and it was just OK, nothing amazing. The other one is sitting the humi for conversation value.

Call me a traditionalist but I like my wrappers to be uniform in colour. Is it just me or are CAO more hype than flavour?
The barber pole look is cool, but I don't see a need for it other than for presentation and conversation. CAO as a whole is good at making it's cigars visible in a humidor that holds hundreds of boxes of smokes. That's just good business. However, I think CAO has in the past gone overboard with the marketing, as in lines such s the Vision, and Sopranos. Just OK cigars that sell for $20 a pop. The MX2 and CX2 and Black are great smokes that I will buy again. I also enjoy the Italia and Brazilia. So YES...a lot of hype...some justified and some not so much.
