  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

CAO Vision much better with age.

I know reviews on the CAO Vision have been mixed, and yes I got hung up on the Purdy lights when I bought it, but I wanted the humidor even if the cigars were only OK.

Anyway, I wanted to say they are getting rather good with age. I recognized with the first cigar, these things needed some more age-big time. I got my box from the first release, and smoked one after only a month or so.

Well I smoked one with a bud last week with an extra year and a half on them and they were much better, still needs another year IMO, but they are now good and starting to show real promise. If you remember they released late, because the cigars needed more age, I think they still released too soon.

If any of you have these sitting around, you may want to give them another try.

I smoked the one you sent me, and it was a good cigar. It was not the 2nd coming of Christ like the magazines and reviews said it was. I have since aquired another, and will hold on for a bit then see how it does.

OOOOoooooo pretty lights. I was hoping they would give us one at the CAO smoker. Nope box pressed Italia. Still waiting for the price to come down.

What do they sell these for? I don't think I have ever seen one in person. Or if I did I passed it up.

I like CAO's but just don't have many, not that I haven't tried a few. They just haven't been a part of my collection.

If you buy a box and sell the empty humidor on Ebad for 75-100 its not a bad priced cigar for what you get, paying 12-20 for a single, yea it's more than the smoke is worth.

It's a stretch to say this cigar needs years of aging, it has obvious benefits to age it though, my first smoke was a bit harsh on the back of the throat making it harder to enjoy the flavor. But hey if you like strong, it may be right up your alley first go.
