  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Had my first one last night. Don't know why it took me this long to get around to it, but Wow, great cigar and I loved the chocolate flavors and long finish.

These came and sold out quick, but CI still lists them as backorder. I called and they seem to think another shipment will come in, but didn't know when.

I'll have to try and make it to that CI store. I was thinking about it on saturday but I just found out they need me to work at the B&M here. I keep trying to find out if they're getting any......

Picked up one on the Hill. Nice smoke, not generally my preferred flavor profile. A strong second from me on the bitter/dark chocolate notes. Completely worth trying, and I would certainly smoke one again.

They finally landed in the B&M. Just came in today so I'll pick some up in a couple days. Those wrappers look awfully dark almost colored like the Victor Sinclair Bohemian oscuro wrappers.

Anyone find it weird the robustos are more than the churchills on the CI link?
Also churchills are the only vitola they have up on cbid and the fiver is just about the same price per stick as a box. Everything sold out quick last time in all sizes, seems odd, but yea looks like they are better deals on the churchills.

I've only had the torps, they smoked great, anyone had each vitola?

Sadly I haven't been able to get my hands on any at all yet. But the trop is good, huh?

It does seem like the church is a good bargin. Maybe I'll have to find some...

Three sizes released, CI is back ordered already on them (or waiting first shipment). I spoke with Carlos about these last Spring and he said they would be very close to the Triubute 04. Get em while you can, four years has been too long!

Copied from the Web:

Torano Tribute, 2008. One of the most anticipated new handmades of the year. At play, an exquisite recipe of 5-year old tobaccos. A lusciously dark Brazilian Mata Fina leaf graces the premium Nicaraguan long-fillers from Esteli and Jalapa. Dark, toothy and oily, this beautiful cigar glistens in the light. Utilizing ultra-select wrapper leaves that have been triple-fermented for optimum flavor, the Tribute ’08 delivers a medium to full-bodied bouquet of smooth, exquisite, and perfectly balanced flavors. Packaged in gorgeous Spanish cedar boxes, each individually numbered, this is the ultimate Torano cigar to have, and savor. Available in three classic vitolas, only 1,200 boxes were created in each size, making this an extremely limited cigar.
Mitch I have one of these in the humi and didn't know I had one. Thanks for making me look.

I ahd the robusto last week. Beautiful burn...razar sharp. Very tasty too.

The first 3 puffs tasted just like the signature line...which I love!!!! After that, it got really spicy for about 1/2 inch. But then...then...it turned into one fantastic smoke.

mellowed out into a complex, med-full body flavor bomb. Defintily worth the $9. I think of other $9 cigars out there, and this is SOOOO worth it.

If you can get them...do.
