  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

It's been about 3-4 years since I bought a 5 pack from cbid. I broke down and bought a fiver of some Torano that I never had. One of the reasons I stopped buying 5ers is because they all smelled exactly the same when I got them. It wasn't a good smell either. Almost like they had all the cigars mixed together in a bin and the real bad shitty cigars that they even advise against buying sit next to the good stuff. The smell is just a weird musty funk.

Has anyone else here noticed a strange funk that is consistent from 5er to 5er?

I havent' noticed that. IN fact, the last five 5ers i've bought have all smelled like they should, and the prlight draws have all been very distinguishable.

Maybe it's a turkey thing.

Naaaah this even happened when I was in PA a mere 1.5 hours away from the warehouse. It would have been quicker for me to drive down and pick up my weekly winnings, but easier to have them delivered.

Hell maybe it's my luck? They eventually normalize and smell like I think they should, and like I know a few should. Like I said though initially when first pulled out of the shipping box they all smell samey samey.

I never have that problem. All cigars from Cbid are top notch.
