Not many are familiar with this cigar...and for good reason!

These cigars are not produced by Habanos SA as is every other Cuban brand...They are basically non-sanctioned, and QC (among other things) are out the window.

From what I was told, The former head (or top ranking member) of Altadis S.A. commissioned these cigars to be produced around 05 (?). They were rolled at the Partagas factory and several sizes were made: Robusto, DC, Lonsdale, Piramide, Salamone.

Elie Bleu made the humidors for these cigars and there was an odd number, like 64 or 84 sticks in each one, and not every size went into every humidor. I think Christies auctioned one off for around $8200.
