Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
I'm working on that part. I'm stepping up from a 50 count so it'll be barren for a bit. I'm waiting for my hygrometers to show up before I move in. I would like to get the cigar oasis wire hidden before then too.Cool but where's the gars?

Basically I wanted battery power and a remote on off switch to keep from having to drill holes in the humidor. Then I stumbled across these in Sam's today. By buying two packs I have ten lights that can be controlled by one remote. I only installed 6 (still overkill) so I have 4 lights and second remote for another project. These packs were $15 each and with the different options I think they are worth it. Just throwing out a heads up if anyone else is looking to add wireless LED lights to their humidor.

Also, what about heat? Do they generate much heat?Been wanting to add lights to my cab, but seems like a hassle, do they come in different colors?

I'm all about the green, sure, test it out since it's empty right now anyway, thanksThey have 4 selectable colors, white, green, blue and red.
I'm not sure on heat. I haven't left them on long enough to really tell. I hadn't planned on leaving them on for extended periods of time, just long enough to check on things and pick a smoke.
Edit: if you want I can turn a spare one on and leave it on for a while and see if it gets warm at all.
Nice! OK thanks, might have to get some.I've had one in my desktop humidor for an hour now. That replicates about the same airspace, for a single light, as the bigger humidor. So far it has failed to raise the temp a single degree.
