Well, Ive been looking for some more budget friendly smokes. Ive come across the Tat P, the DPG veagas cubanas and the DPG 1979. All were about 5 bucks, (the 1979 has gone up to 6.50 now). Other than that Ive been trying to find the 5 Vegas which I cant locat for the life of me in a nearby B&M. Are there any other ones I should keep a look out for that may be in my B&M? Ive done a search already and havent recognized any of the brands besides the ones I know are sold online.

i like the La Aroma De Cuba. when you can find these on sale, i've gotten them as low as 3 a cigar, and they are well worth your 5 dollar budget! keep an eye on the devil site, i just picked up 2 5ers for right at 3/smoke this week

The nub cameroon and habano are good $4-$5 smokes. The La Flor Dominicana double ligero are in the general price range and are one of my favorite everydays. Good luck and happy hunting.

If "cheap" to you is $5 / stick....then you will end up being a VERY happy man. Nearly every cigar I have was $5 or less, mostly from cigarbid and various daily specials/sales. In that price range you can get some fantastic cigars, such as:

Tat Havana VI
Padilla 1932
Padilla Miami
Perdomo ESV
601
Cubao
LFD
Alec Bradley Tempus
Illusione Cuchillos Cubanos
Padron 2000/churchill/others
And nearly anything by CAO, Rocky Patel, Oliva, Perdomo, 5 Vegas, Gurkha, etc.

At a local B&M you'll find very few of these for $5, but I've gotten ALL of them online for that price. For example I love the Perdomo ESV, and routinely get them for about $3.50/stick on special, but at my local B&M they are $11/stick for the Toro size!!

serie G maduro is NICE!

Also, Oliva V fits that price range and is a superb smoke for any budget.

5 vegas miami definitely has the Pepin tast profile and cbid makes them $3 - $3.50 a pop.

Don't forget about the cheapie Padron's, either!

Happy hunting!

I have found a great "cheap go to" smoke and have been buying them up as fast as I can pay for them. I remember buying my first bundle about a year ago,,Pirates Gold Maduro by Rolando Reyes. I forgot about them and was digging thru my humidor and fired one up,,,WOW! At first I thought I pulled out a Cuban Cigar and saved the band to read about it later. At my surprise this cigar was at a price point of around $1.20 and smoked like a $5-7 cigar. I have been smoking for 40 years and have had the best of the best and this cigar is a major find for me,,,at least for my taste buds.

If I can intercede with a shamless shill here, we recently introduced a cigar called the Famous Nicaraguan 6000, in bundles of 20. IMHO, it's probaby the best tasting cigar we have for the price at $2.70 and under per cigar.

So far, the majority of seasoned smokers who have taken the plunge on a bundle either online or here in our retail shop have re-ordered and raved about them (Sadly, none have posted comments on our site yet.). If you're a gamblin' man, these are a winner.
