Sometimes you get a leftover bird from Thanksgiving...one that doesn't get cooked for some reason.

Well my leftover bird is in the BBQ right now on a nice slow cook. Pics later, batteries are charging.

We are going to do all of the Christmas meats,,,,sprial ham, Lamb, and then I will deep fry a 14 pound bird in the afternoon. I have a feeling that we will have more than enough leftovers for the next couple months. Good thing I bought the extra freezer in the summer.

Jealous! I love lamb but I am in the minority so I never really get to get it.

HA! I had to stand over the bird with a carving knife to make sure I made it home with some of it!

It was the first time I cooked a turkey and was glad it turned out ok. Everybody ate 2 or 3 servings so I thought I did a good job.:eyebrow:
