Cigar band project...actually completed?!?

"Someday" ended up being the other night. I grabbed a handful of bands from the drawer, an X-Acto knife, and some Mod Podge. Didn't take any longer than the time it took to smoke my cigar.

Overall, I'm happy with the results. Even with that Tat Black band's text messing with my love of symmetry. I may put one or two more protective layers over top, but it did take a few years to even start the project, so we'll see about that...


My fiancé channeled her inner Boltman and did this BIC while I had the materials out.

Nice job. My bands are donated to the ash tray who eventually donates them to the trash. From there I don't know where they go. Maybe I will start keeping them...

Thanks. That's why I posted it. I know a lot of guys have a jar/drawer/box around the house that's busting with bands. Thought it may inspire someone else to give it a shot. I did it while having a couple beers and watching football. Doesn't take any real talent, just some time.
