  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Well it was really nice when I was working cause I never had time to smoke. I was down to a cigars like every two weeks. Now that I'm home all the time I have all this time to chat online, and smoke cigars. I need a new hobby.
I would think the pipe is a nice idea and with your Dads beautiful pipes you should be a natural.

I have taken a break for a few days but never for an extended period. Take a couple days off and drink lots of apple juice, I know you think I am crazy but for some reason apple juice really seems to clean and refresh my palate. Sometimes I drink some between cigars even to refresh my palate for the next cigar.

I went about nine days recently. It was because I was real sick. I don't smoke every day. Since being back after being sick I found it easier to cut back on the amount that I was smoking. I'm actually happy with that. It lets my stash build up. I was running through it way to fast. Smoking up all of my WOW smokes.

I am actually ok with it. I am sitting here in my garage, smoking one of the several pipe I have, and yes my dad made them all. Smoking some very pleasent tobacco. I will give the cigars a break for a month or two then come back and see how things taste then. Great responses guys. I like to hear other guys experiences and ideas on things.

Donk, a good cigar is like a good friend in a zen like odd way. When you spend too much time together, the uniqueness of the relationship stales. Well kept stogies, snug in their climate controlled humidor will be happy to spend time with you again when you're ready. They were made to be consumed, but they don't mind waiting. The longer the wait, the more seasoned the cigar becomes, and the more you will enjoy it.

I have long been envious of those who only smoke 1 cigar a week. I think how good each cigar must taste. I can't make myself wait so long for something that good unless I get burnt out a little.
