i find i thoroughly enjoy rich, full flavored & bodied cigars. though with these cigars, i find an inherent urge to spit! sometimes, i'll walk a bit just to find a place to spit. i'll use an empty cup if need be. i won't, like, spit on your foot.... for some reason, i just can't find a way to, uh, swallow....

so my question is, to spit or not to spit?

Ok, I'll set my self up for this......

Sometimes depending on where I am and who is around. I noticed when I first started smoking, I did a lot. Now it is on at certain times. But. being in redneckville, it is pretty common around here to just spit for no reason also. lol

Spitting, in general, has always seemed offensive to me, even in MLB. My son and his friends went through a spitting phase when they were around 14-16. It seemed like it became a habit with them but now that they are 25 or so, I don't remember see any of them spit for quite a while now. Anyway, with regards to smoking a stiff cigar, I wonder if there isn't something one can take to control saliva production. My point is this, I believe the spitting may become a habit and you might find yourself not looking anymore for a special "spit location".

For me, it totally depends on my cigar. Some make my mouth water, others don't. Some are delicious, some make my spit taste funny, so out it goes.

If I gotta spit, I'm gonna. Like it or don't.

As much as I'd love to be a big squashy leather armchair sitting, silk smoking jacket wearing sophisticate, I just ain't.:grinFU:
