Freezing cigars is a very controversial topic. I've heard lot's of people discuss it but I've never actually seen proof of it.
An interesting video showing the actual freezer in use at Padron in Miami. "4 days at 5 below zero"

There is a chart that I have seen posted somewhere on the interwebz that breaks down the time needed to kill the beetle larvae based on the temperature and I believe the size of the cigar as well. When I freeze (something I need to get better about) I usually do 3-4 days in my freezer as it does not get as cold as a deep freeze and takes longer to make sure the bastards are dead

Well, that's just unpadronable.

Not a big fan of Padron. BOTLs have gifted me any number of them over the years, thinking they are amazing. I've yet to be amazed.
There is something about an anniversary 1964 series with a natural wrapper I just love. I think for the price they could at least do better than a single cap, but that's me. Not something I smoke often, but I do enjoy them for special occasions.
