I'd like to try a glass of that, along with the cigar of course. Very cool packaging.

”Cigar-In-The-Bottle”

It started out when I first met John “Forbidden Johnny” Soyak, creator of the Cigar-In-The-Bottle, about 8 years ago. John had a unique patent on a bottle which has a punt that extended through the whole bottle. After many concepts and attempts, Forbidden Johnny finally found the right combination.

One of the best-ever cigar companies around, Arturo Fuente, was chosen to be the Cigar-In-The-Bottle’s cigar. Probably the Rarest Fuente Cigar ever made can only be found in the bottle. The cigar is named “Fuente Forbidden X”. It is a more robust cigar than it’s sibling called “Opus X” so far the most acclaimed cigar in the Fuente portfolio.

After considering many kinds of spirits for the Cigar-In-The-Bottle, Forbidden Johnny and Carlos Fuente overwhelmingly wanted a serious French Cognac-based apple brandy or “Calvados” for their project. And after considering many Calvados producers, they unanimously chose the Calvados made by the cellar masters at the legendary Pere Magloire Calvados Distillary, who has been around since 1821. The hand selected fruit is processed in only the finest manner. Unlike most cognacs, which are often distilled with additives, this Calvados is made pure using a special double distillation process. The result is pure ecstasy, as the spirit is aged in French oak casks and then blended to create a bouquet of heavenly aromas.

After a very successful debut in the Atlantic City , the Cigar-In-The-Bottle team is prepared to launch the product this Fall 2004.
