I think it's a 68 but I have heartfelt beads and the cigar puck as well. I know it's a lot for that small of a humidor but this keeps it pretty consistent haha.

Thanks Mitch! That was the start I needed. I'll probably go back and read your post a few times to soak all that in. Great post for a new smoker. Thanks!

    Great post Mitch,
As a newbie I'm trying to gain as much knowledge and your post was helpful in demystifying what I thought cigar smoking was, is and what others described it as. You've gotten me to realized every smoke and experience is unique to the individual along their journey. So, with your basics firmly in hand I can expand those experiences, but with a solid foundation to ensure for a fewer wasted opportunities. Interestingly, I also realize I need to reread and probably come back to this as I put together my philosophy. Glad you posted it. Much appreciated.

I've been at it for around 7 months or so but I'm still learning plenty just from videos, reading reviews, even tips about what to do/not to. Reading this post over definitely helped me to assure myself that I for one, I am hooked, and two, I'm doing some things right.

Thanks Mitch, this is a great post for beginners, and even more experienced smokers looking to sharpen their knowledge tool box. I'm def a novice, but glad I already take many of your points into consideration when smoking.

I'm also a newbie, coming from pipe smoking. A few months ago I asked myself the question, how do I buy cigars I like. My tobacconist was and is a big help. I tried a few cigars of varying strengths and finally came to like medium strength with creamyness and complexity. Now there are about a 100 count in my humidor, all of them to my liking. U-tube was a big help also and I continue learning in this wonderful forum. When I have a question, I ask a seasoned cigar smoker friend of mine or post the question.
