Okay, had an Echo yesterday (echocardiagram). You know the treadmill stress test!. Dr. said I passed with flying colors, heart looks great. All part of the yearly physical. With the exception of a few extra pounds (okay a lot more than a few) all my numbers look great. BP, cholesterol, etc. Told the Dr. I smoke cigars, his response. He didn't see it as a problem! Dentist visit, same thing, asked if I smoked, I said cigarettes no, but I do enjoy cigars, and he said, he doesn't even consider that a factor! I was blown away, I was waiting for these health nuts to berate me, but they said stay away from those "cancer sticks"! I even talked to folks at the local B&M and they have mentioned similiar experiences. Has this happened to anyone else? A health care professional not concerned about cigars? Look, I know they are a tobacco product, and there is a risk, not trying to start that debate. I was just surprised by the response. BTW, just before the echo, my light meal consisted of a a cup of coffee and a 5 Vegas Series A torpedo :cbig:
