Cigars & Chocolate

[LTS 4 Bad Cigars]

Anyone on here like to partake of chocolate with their cigars? I got tuned on to this site and this chocolate a year or so ago and was quite surprised at the way they complemented each other.

No I think chocolate coats your mouth way to much to actually be able to enjoy a cigar as the chocolate mutes the flavors of your gar.

Dark chocolate can be rather enjoyable after smoking a cigar. Belgian chocolate is probably my favourite.

I like drinking a Chocolate Pharaoh with my sticks. Lite chocolate flavor and goes down smooth!

There is nothing better than a good full bodied cigar, a glass of bourbon, and a few cocoa powder covered chocolate truffles.

I occasionally eat chocolate when I drink cheaper scotches. Cigars are pretty good too with chocolate.

Having a beverage handy helps keep the palate nice and clean. I also find taking smaller bites of chocolate helps in keeping it from compromising the experience. Since I have a sweet tooth, that is easier said than done!

In my experience, I've found 2 sticks that pair well with chocolate, a Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 and a Padron 2000.

I don't eat a lot of chocolate, but I do love the occasional glass of chocolate milk with a cigar. Even better, a bottle of Starbucks mocha frappuccino you can get at a gas station. That stuff is like crack!

A couple of weeks ago I drank hot chocolate with a Liga Provada (I believe it was a #9, not sure) and it was awesome.

I will definitely be drinking hot chocolate with more of my cigars especially since it is freezing cold here in PA.

it isnt just the dairy in there. it is the fat from the chocolate itself.

Try this. A La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor with Dove dark Chocolate. I think you'll be surprised. I was.

Its been years since I tried dark choc. with my cigars but as i remember it was good....think I will retry!
