  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

definitely have to try island cigars with some age on 'em and compare them with newer releases of the same vitola.

If you are a noob, then I recommend trying the classic cuban cigars to get a reference for where most cigars come from and why most factories/blenders want to copy them. Your list is:

Bolivar Belicosos Finos
Partagas Serie D No.4
Partagas 898
Montecristo No. 2
Montecristo Edmundo
Diplomaticos No. 2
H. Upmann Magnum 46
Ramon Allones Special Selection
Hoyo de Monterrey Double Corona
Vegas Robaina Famosos
Cohiba Esplendidos
Cohiba Robusto
Cohiba Siglo VI
Por Larranaga Petit Corona
Romeo y Julieta Short Churchill
Trinidad Robusto T

What everyone else said... and the Tatuaje Havana VI, and the JdN Antano 1970 (but keep something sugary/alcoholic around to combat the nicotine sickness, as I learned the hard way :barf:)

I'd recommend trying a Cuban Crafters sampler, $24.99. I really like these smokes and they are quite inexpensive. I really like the JL Salazar, La Carolina, Cameroon, and Don Kiki Red Label. The e-mail specials are great, I usually buy the sticks I like when they occasionally come up for around $3 a stick. My kind of cigars at my kind of prices.

Wow...great options here...In my country we get most of those, but no Liga Privada or Viaje for me...I'll probably have to buy them next time I go to the States.
