They're nice, if you like the Pepin's at the less peppery end of the spectrum. I have a slight preference for the Holt's Connoisseurs, also blended by DPG, and they're about a buck a stick cheaper.

I agree on the "better with age" comment. Got a box of Ace's last month. Smoked one tonight. Great smoke, but definetly looking forward to some age.

I did get the sampler and I have had 2 or three of them, I do like them and also feel they will get better with age.

i would agree with Hendy in that these will be wonderful with a little age.

I would also liken them to the vegas cuabanas. A little fuller bodied than say, the ERDLH. Med-Full bodied, full flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed the corona size i smoked a week or so ago.

I would certainly recommend picking these up.

I usually have a box of each of the Old Henrys in the cooledor. My lunch time time smoke.
