Obviously, there's one dolt out there trying to stir crap up (I've seen his stuff on CA and Cigar Pass.) But anyone else think maybe they might actually be on the rise?

I don't think the odds of getting cought have changed. I think sometimes when people start talking about it, things start to spread like wildfire. I would bet we all know someone that has gotten "the" letter. But, hell I suppose customs good be cracking down. But again i think cigars are not on the top of the confiscation list, or at least I hope it's not.

with some hesitation, ( as i was flamed off the CA site for trying to warn all about a new tactic) there does seem to be a new crackdown on you criminal elements who might be given into there passions and order Cubano's from overseas

seriously, i did get one of the reported NEW letters, if anyone wants to see what it is, please feel free to email me offline, i will send you a copy.

i have recently dealt with the vendor, i think it is just a stab in the dark by the G-men, and the vendor has been great in supplying any info they have, seems like most of us got our letters on the same day

i saw a question about this on another post last night, but was to lazy to reply,and can't find it now, so i am just starting a new thread

feel free to email me if interested in seeing the reported new letter, it's a cheap read

I saw this over on cw in the lcdh room. Anyone know the vendor? I hope it is not one of my regulars. So let me get this right...no more just a piece of paper from customs???? Now a fine as well? Hummmmm might be time to go back to a rebanded/boxed vendor.
