I used to love a Connie in the morning, and since I hadn't had one in a really long time I decided to grab one with the morning coffee.

It's still an O.K. stick, but it just didn't do it for me like it used to. The whole time I was smoking it I kept thinking, man, I wish this was a Party Short... :smt022

Think I'll save the rest of the ones I have for yardwork and such.

It is a sad day when we realize that a stick we used to cherish is now just a mediocre smoke.

That's what the dark side does to ya ...

Yup, sad but true.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't puke, and I did smoke the majority of it. It just wasn't the tasty stick I remembered.

I've never actually had a connie, but after all this talk I think I'll pick up a bundle or two. The #9 maddies are pretty much the standard, right? I've also heard talk about like 72s or 73s, but mostly the #9 mads.

I had a aged Connie 9 maddie last week and it was nice smooth and creamy but just don't have that twang. I also have some Old Fashioned #3 maddies which it sure seems to me are the same cigar. They can be bought even cheaper than the Connies.

Ok for all you guys that are getting bored with the Connies, you can just go ahead and send them my way. I will be sure and give them the attention that I'm sure they are longing for!! :smt033

Tyler said it...Everybody is talking about #72 and #73! Well here's your chance to bitch about them (all maddies from 01 including the number #30) now that you have the chance to try them all! :smt065 :smt063

By the way, not all are bitter. The RA is from 98 and the Q is from 04(best yard gar yet). :smt079
