  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Jason, I've no freakin' idea what you're talking about, I wasn't referring to you in the thread in which you quoted me. I've had my days of 9-10 cigars in a day, hell I had 7 on Saturday, I can hang with the best of them in quantity, but I never said you couldn't. I'd love to sit with you, talk golf and smoke a few good ones.
i don't think it's about hanging, or smoking as much as you can, for me, its just natural, and some of the guys around me know i smoke allot, i'm not trying to one up anyone, just me. dam, 7, wtf were u smoking wade?

It's all good Wade!! However, I think Kumar and I take some flak due to our antics. Hell Kumar is a "one of a kind". In all the forums I am a member of, I've never seen anybody do things like Kumar. For me, I just like cigars and I smoke a lot of them. Other than that I tend to be a smart ass and too direct. We are not trying impress anybody, we just do what we do. If we make people laugh, thats great. If people think we are ignorant troglodytes, thats great because it makes us laugh. If you ever get to Southern California, give us a call. We will smoke cigars, drink, and play golf.

Haven't had the pleasure of trying one of these yet, and I'm a pretty big LFD fan. I'm almost as big of a LFD fan as Wade is of Fuente.....

Okay, maybe not. Don't think that's possible.

Honestly--and no offense towards you at all, Jason--but that sentence makes your antics sound an awful lot like an "Internet Troll".

Please understand that I'm not saying you're intentionally doing it, but from an outsider's perspective, that's what it looks like.

You know, like, I'm just saying.

First of all, what is an "Internet Troll"?

The Lanceros are great!
Well I love lanceros in general, so I'll pick one up even if it's a blend I've never had. And if I like the cigar, then I MUST try the lancero!

Like Torano just put out a lancero for the Casa Magna Maduro, so I NEED to get one somewhere (my "good" B&M doesn't have it, but I'm going to try another one this weekend).

I think the Oliva G should come in a lancero...that would be a sweet cheap stick!

The Coronados are very good, but try the smaller ring gauges. There are lanceros out there...

As far as smoking cigar quickly, I have to agree, smoking a cigar quickly heats it up to fast and ruins all of the beautiful flavors the blenders intended you to taste. Most people I know that smoke all of their cigars fast are either a little edgy or former cigarette smokers.

Smoking cigars is all about the experience... cutting, toasting, lighting, smoking and sitting back and relaxing.

Wow!!..There are actually people who don't have lives and they have created their own little language.
LOL, uh...have you noticed the online CIGAR world? It's got it's own "little language". Just TRY to use some of the words we all spew everyday in conversation with non cigar enthusiasts. They won't know WTF you're talking about. LOL

Just about every group out there has their own "little language", including our own, so perhaps passing judgment on them (ie: "people who don't have lives", as if people outside OUR group would think we have lives! LOL) isn't the wisest thing to do.

I failed the test, I'm a direct person, I have a real job, make decent money, have a great family, and I don't have self confidence issues.

Jason...and I use my real name...
There's no litmus test for being a troll.

Either you act like one, or you don't.
