tried my first cohiba siglo II last night. not to bad but it had a funky taste that i could not put my finger on. they are pretty young yet, so ill let em sit for a while and see what some age does to them.eace:

Its that special triple fermentation they do with the tobacco! Nothin tastes like a Cohiba.

I have heard the Cohiba line is an aquired taste. I wasn't blown away from my first Cohiba. It was very young though. I have few more in my humidor that I will let sit for awhile.

Cohibas definately are better with age. the grassy flavor can be too much when young.

I gt a box of esplendidos about five years ago and smoked one and hated it. Put em all in the bottlom of my humi and forgot them. When I found them 4 years later they were amazing. Time seems to be the answer to these great smokes. My 2 cents.

My Siglo VI's are smoking GREAT right now! Also have a box of Robustos buried at the bottom of the Avallo! I just can't seem to justify the price though unless there is a good sale!

Smoked a 3 year old robusto yesterday. Didn't like it at all. The grassy flavor was overbearing.

i coulldnt quite call the flavor of my "grassy". i dont really know how to describe it. almost a sour note to it... but like i said they are pretty young. date on the box is FEB 06. but not too bad imho

The first Cohiba I had was the Lancero. It was awesome. I didn't have the same feelings for the larger RG's though.
