I've got a Xikar and a Palio. Maybe I'm just not good with the Xikar, but I find the Palio infinitely easier to use. With the Xikar I'm always getting a jagged cut and a split wrapper.

wait until you pinch the skin on your palm with that XiKar. I'm always scared when I have to use mine

For variety: I have also read raves about the Wolf V-Cutter, for certain applications.

Elsewise: after much debate & research--and with a great deal ($25) from cigarking on the basic model, I went w/Palio.
