De La Concha

I went to this cigar store yesterday...it is right off central park in nyc. I tried their house brand which is apparantly made by Pepin and it was great. Has anyone else indulged in one of these?

I went there a year or two ago, but didn't know their house brand was a Pepin cigar. Do you remember what it was called? I like the tables right by the windows, cause there's some damn good people watching right there!!!

Great people watching...especially on warm days. I dont believe the house brand has a name aside from De La Concha...from what I heard Pepin got his start there, so it may be one of his originals..unless I am totally off.

Their house brand is definitely a well-kept secret. Always worth buying, which I do whenever I'm there. For some reason, I have never gotten around to buying them over web/mail-order, though... :dunno:

Is the house brand close to any of Pepin's other cigars? I havent tried any of his others.
