Dead Cutter

The Xi I have bit the dust. It had begun to stick, so I put a couple drops of water on it to clean it up- that's when the spring came out.

I guess now I just send it back to Xikar? I haven't had it very long...got it with the GB from Mark.

I havn't tried a Xikar. I use a Palio, However I like the look and design of the Xikar. I hope they repair or replace it for you.

I've sent two broken items to Xikar over the past few years and they typically replace / repair very quickly. you may want to call them first to make sure that you are sending all of the correct information with the package...

Maybe you got a dud. Mine broke because I am hard on things...

lifetime warrantee baby...send it back or take it to an authorized dealer. They replaced my lighter, no questions asked.

Yeah, I don't even walk in to a B&M with out $$$$ in hand.

They'll replace it for you, you're aware of their customer service, you'll have a new one in no time.

Yeah. Stay away from water and stick with alcohol. Always good advice, whether we're talking about cutters or not... :halfgrinw

Well that is not very informative. Did you walk in tothe B&M and spen $250 on smokes so they would replace the cutter for free? Or did yoou call XI and they said send it for replacement?

Had problems with a lighter, I asked to swap even for a leather case, no problem they sent me the case and a new lighter.

Agreed! I've left my credit card with the good people at the B&M made no sense in bringing it back with me...

I've heard people use some silicon drops or something to clean and lubricate their cutters any one know what that is and where to find it?
