Deep fryer pilot light help

So I'm having a hard time lighting a pilot light on a Magikitch'n deep fryer. It really shouldn't be too hard. Move pilot switch to pilot push and light remove flame and it it stays light turn to on. However for the love of me I can't get the pilot light to light. I can hear and smell gas but nothing. Does anyone have any experience with these.

I'm trying to light those 4 vertical cylinders.
