BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

It's hard because my family hate smoke and two of them have pretty bad asthma so it's hard to find time to smoke with them.

When I spotted your Weitzens I was soooo jealous. The one thing I love about Germany or maybe I should say Bavaria is the glass your beer is poured in is always a dead give away as to what you are drinking.

Heh...even in Anchorage, we have a kitchen store that sells Smeg. I've been eyeballing a toaster.
I lived in Germany '94-'98 and man, those pictures do make me miss it. I did most of my traipsing around Stuttgart and points south.

These are the beers in my fridge at the hotel atm. on a sad note though I'm pretty sure I lost the 100 bucks of cc's I picked up in Munich....can't find em anywhere...

I thought it looked different but I wasn't sure. IIRC, they make a liqueur at Ettal. But it's been a couple of decades since I was there.

If you are still in Augsburg you need to have a Hausenbrau Weitzen. We would joke it was rabbit piss but it was really good beer. My town for close to 3 years while in the service. Go to to the old part of the city. Still has the walls surrounding the city from roman times and it has the very first retirement home/village in the world. I really miss that town sometimes!!! Some great memories !!!
