If it captures in JPG, the file sizes will vary depending on the amount of compressible contrast in the image. I'm going to ballpark guess... about 30 images, maybe less.

...big grains of salt are needed with this estimate.

are you sure it is mb? That is really small in regards to cards you can buy.

Some cameras come with really small built-in memory, with a slot for a not-included memory card. The included memory always seems insufficient for me. It depends on how you'll use it, I suppose. On your desk near the computer, just for shooting pictures of a cigar for immediate upload to your PC for web (not printing) might be the perfect use for 6mb of internal memory with no additional memory card.

We just bought a 4 gig card for around 70-80. More space than we will ever need.

Good choice on a camera, Ron. I have a Casio Exilim (8.2 Mp) after tons of research. Good buy!
Yep. I have the Casio EXZ1050 with 10.1 MP. Easy to use and Casio came highly rated. Very, very fun camera.
