Digital hygrometer went nuts

replaced the battery in my hygrometer, and now the readings are nutty - read E88 for temp and 88 for humidity. Did a salt test to calibrate, and after 24 hours it read E11 for temp and 11 for humidity. Removed the battery and put it in again, same thing.

Any ideas? The one button on the unit has no effect.

Think it may be time for a new one. Nothing is made to last anymore. How long have u had it?

Well the e is for error obviously, is there a reset button anywhere?
