There's many types of cedar and your're in Australia so I have no idea what type it is, but it looks great.
Around here the most common type of cedar is "western red cedar". It is very aromatic and is a wood you defiantly want to avoid putting in your humidor.

Fair enough, I dunno what kind it is mate, just that it's not very aromatic, has a faint smell when cutting that's nice but disappears pretty quick after. Hopefully it doesn't affect the taste of my sticks.
