Comparing myself to how I am with coffee, I'd say I'm not a cigar aficionado. I will turn my nose up at nasty coffee; I would drink nothing rather than drink nasty dark roasted swill. But I will gladly smoke cheap cigars.

I think most everyone on BOTL meets the definition of aficionado: "a person who is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about an activity, subject, or pastime."
We all love the cigars we smoke, and read about them, and learn about the craft of tobacco whenever and wherever possible, be it in smoking, cultivating, the actual making of cigars, etc. All of us imo are aficionados, anyone who would take the time to join a forum dedicated to a hobby meets that definition.
