Domenico Cigars

I read an AP article about these. These were the Greek Domenicos, not the ones from the DR. The article said that they are made from Cuban-seed tobacco grown and rolled in Greece somewhere north of Athens.

I would really like to get ahold of a box or two and was wondering if anyone else has heard of these or knows where / how to buy them.

The municipality of Potamia took the initiative to set up a hand-made cigar factory. The Domenico Cigar and Tobacco Growers’ Cooperative is based in the homonymous village and tries to promote the commercial utilization of its members’ products. A group of mainly young people founded in 2004 an important, profitable and pioneering business of Cuban tobacco production under the auspices of the mayor of Potamia who travelled to Cuba and gained information about the world of cigars. Tobacco is processed to produce hand-made cigars and cigarillos. Moreover, the municipality of Potamia has engaged in the cultivation of energy plants such as rape (Brassica napus) for the production of biodiesel.

I've been trying to find an online dealer, but haven't been successful so far. Post an update if you have any luck finding them. I will do the same.
