Don Pepin Garcia Blue - My first review

Since my son was nowhere to be found this afternoon I decide to do some yard work that he never got to. What better time to fire up a smoke. So as I readied the spreader for the first lawn treatment of the year I whipped out the stick.

I examined the cigar and found the construction to be excellent, it perfectly resembled a cigar. The first third was an excellent blend of leather and phosphate, followed by a tinge of coffe/potash. I was surprised by how quickly the blast of nitrogen kicked in as I continued to make 4' passes with my Scott's rotary.

The finish was a mild coffee with a hint of Pendamethalin (the active crabgrass annihilator). I'll definitely try this one again but this time I'll wait until after I've finished the fertilizing!

If you do it, it must be safe. I always smoke a stick when i am fertilizing the grass. I'm not worried about the fertilizer itself, I'm worried about blowing myself up due to the nitrogen content.

Good review!! I was cracking up - Those have a good nic punch & I probably wouldn't choose that as my yard-gar: sure to leave my head spinning!

I'm not a big fan of the Blue line - Pepper bombs!!! (Hey, to each his own...!)

Thought the lancero is in a different catagory altogether - Those are amazing!

Thanks for the review Bro. I had my first DPG Blue about three weeks ago. I agree with the review except for the fertirizer. I got the exact same experience. Nice to know my palate is developing.
